Risk Adviser’s sister publication ifa has unveiled the agenda for its 2016 Business Strategy Day, which is set to be held in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Following successful strategy days held earlier this year, ifa has announced the launch of the 2016 Business Strategy Day which will focus on helping advisers and financial planners learn how to attract Gen Y and female clients, set the right price and compete against robo-advisers.
The event will also look at providing client-centric advice, examine what opportunities lie within the huge intergenerational transfer of wealth, and explore innovative business models across the advice industry.
Set to kick off on 1 March in Sydney, the event will also visit Brisbane on 2 March and Melbourne on 3 March.
Russell Stephenson, head of wealth for Sterling Publishing and publisher of ifa and Risk Adviser, said the event will provide great insight into the ways advisers can develop and grow as business owners.
"Global research shows that many successful financial advice businesses have shifted their focus to client-centric advice, and are connecting on a deeper level with clients and becoming personal mentors," he said.
"That will be the focus of the ifa Business Strategy Day 2016. The goal is to deliver new, unique and thought provoking ideas for business leaders."
In addition, results from the InvestorDaily Dealer Group survey will be announced, which will provide insight and new data on the dealer group market as well as on trends and industry mergers.
